Justin Bodenkamp Cinematographer

Justin Bodenkamp

Justin Bodenkamp is a cinematographer and directing DoP working between Zurich and Amsterdam, known for crafting rich, tactile visuals with a strong sense of atmosphere and precision.

Born to a Dutch mother and German father, Justin grew up between cultures—an influence that continues to shape his visual language and sensitivity to detail. His work blends technical control with an intuitive, story-driven approach, creating imagery that feels both elevated and immediate.

While many of his peers followed more traditional paths, Justin chose to pursue storytelling through the lens—driven by the belief that even a commercial can leave a lasting impression. From high-speed food films to refined brand narratives, his work focuses on texture, movement, and emotion.

Justin approaches every project with the same intent: to create images that don’t just look beautiful, but feel considered, purposeful, and alive.
